Morgan, Former PR/Information Officer, Scorekeeper
Business Director and CFO of a local business, mom of one, total newbie to baseball and LOVING Riverside LL
Joining the board in 2020 is one of the best things I've done in a long time. Getting together with a great group of parents to give our kids an experience they'll never forget takes some behind the scenes work. It's awesome because of everyone that sits at that table; we are all driven with a love for the game. Also, the Tee Ball kids at the Hit A Thon will fill my cup of joy for at LEAST a month, I look forward to it every year.
When I took on the Scorekeeper role for my son's team, I was new to baseball, and had NO idea what I was doing. But a quick video on YouTube, and BAM I learned a ton and was able to provide valuable details for my son's coach to see just how great the kids were doing every game. It's a fast paced fun way to learn about the sport and contribute while sitting in your favorite camp chair enjoying the game.

Joining the board in 2021, I have a bunch of boys who are active. I volunteer not only to be involved with my kids but also to support and improve Riverside LL.
Louie, Softball Division Volunteer
Real Estate Broker/Firm Owner
I started volunteering as a coach for my daughter's softball team, well, because no one else was doing it. I kept doing it and became more involved in the behind the scenes work and attending board meetings because I wanted to ensure my girls and other girls had the best opportunity possible to learn and play the game. I have stuck with it for many years now because of the success we have had building a softball program and the great friendships I have made with other parents doing something we and our kids all love.
